honourable guest, H.E. Dato’ Kamal Ismaun who was kind enough to grace
the occasion and delivered a speech. His presence on that evening

Deepavali Lunch
Deepavali lunch
In conjuction with Deepavali
"Festival of Lights", a small lunch was
held at the Swagat Indian Restaurant in Prinzregenten Platz on 19th
October 2003. Members and friends gathered together on that
lovely Sunday afternoon to enjoy the delicious and mouth watering
Indian cusine which were prepared on charcoal in a special clay oven
from India. The restaurant offers wide selections authentic
Indian cuisine... ranging from chicken, fish, mutton and vegetarian
dishes and most of the guests enjoyed the popular Swagat’s tandoori
dishes, which were served with fresh oven baked naan bread, fresh
vegetables and spicy sauces. All other dishes were served with
basmati rice.
On behalf of the MCB committee,
the Club’s Secretary, Mr Sadacharam
congratulated Peter Jenus and Peter Daniel who both proudly turned 60
in October 2003. Members and friends were treated with home-baked
desserts on this joyous double birthday celebration.
It was indeed a day to remember for the two Peter(s)!
